Manairons arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on 29 October 2026. Publisher JanduSoft has announced improved textures, higher-resolution visuals and 60 FPS for its folklore-inspired 3D platform adventure. Existing Nintendo Switch owners will be eligible for a free Switch 2 upgrade from 11 December 2026.
A miniature adventure returns
Inspired by the legends of the Pyrenees, the game follows Nai through the village of Vilamont. Players explore environments filled with puzzles, secrets, magical flute combat and unusual bosses. JanduSoft says the game is fully dubbed in English, Spanish and Catalan.
The timing of the upgrade is worth noting. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition arrives on 29 October, but the free upgrade pack for existing Switch owners is scheduled to become available on 11 December. The publisher’s announcement does not yet explain the redemption process or provide exact resolution figures.

What is Manairons?
First released in February 2026, Manairons draws on Catalan and Pyrenean folklore. Nai is a small magical creature recently freed from a legendary container, the canut, and sent to confront Llorenç, a powerful landowner who has put the village’s Manairons to work in his machines.
That setup becomes a platforming adventure through the businesses and hidden corners of Vilamont. Magical melodies are used to solve puzzles, while Nai’s flute also serves as a weapon and a way to deal with other Manairons. The publisher promises boss encounters and secrets throughout the village.
What changes on Nintendo Switch 2?
JanduSoft highlights improvements to texture quality, resolution and a 60 FPS frame rate for the new edition. It has not announced a separate Switch 2-exclusive story, extra areas or new bosses in the release supplied to us. This is a technical upgrade to the existing game.
