Two new Turtle Beach controllers have arrived for PC players, but their most interesting difference isn’t the price. The Stealth Flip Wireless Controller costs £89.99 and can turn its analogue-stick modules into touch controls. The Rematch Wireless RGB Gaming Controller for PC costs £49.99 and pairs contactless TMR thumbsticks with high polling rates, adjustable triggers and headset controls.
Both were announced as available globally on 27 October 2026. Turtle Beach’s launch release leans heavily on competitive performance, but there are practical caveats worth understanding before choosing either controller. The headline 1,000Hz figure applies in different circumstances on each model, and connecting a headset changes the Rematch’s polling rate and battery-life claims.
At a glance
Stealth Flip: £89.99 • flippable touchpads • 1,000Hz wired
Rematch Wireless RGB: £49.99 • TMR sticks • up to 1,000Hz wired/2.4GHz without headset audio
Both are PC-focused controller announcements, not hands-on reviews.
Stealth Flip: the controller designed to put a trackpad in your hands
The Stealth Flip’s trick is genuinely unusual. Its analogue-stick modules can be flipped over to reveal two capacitive touchpads, while a separate dedicated trackpad handles PC cursor navigation. The idea is to reduce the need to reach for a mouse when moving between games, menus and Windows itself. How intuitive that feels in everyday play will need hands-on testing.
Underneath, Turtle Beach specifies Hall-Effect thumbsticks, two remappable rear buttons, adjustable trigger stops, four saved onboard profiles and configuration through PC Swarm II. The company also lists a 3.5mm headset connection, a supplied wireless USB transmitter and Bluetooth for compatible devices.

There is an important wording distinction in the launch specifications: up to 1,000Hz is a wired polling-rate claim for the Stealth Flip. It should not be read as a promise of 1,000Hz over Bluetooth or its wireless USB connection. Turtle Beach quotes up to 20 hours of battery life, again subject to real-world conditions.
Rematch Wireless RGB: a cheaper route to contactless sticks
At £49.99, the PC-specific Rematch is the more straightforward competitive proposition. It uses TMR (tunnelling magnetoresistance) thumbsticks, Hall-Effect triggers with three adjustable travel stops, two remappable rear buttons, three onboard profiles and configurable RGB lighting.
It connects by USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless transmitter or Bluetooth. Turtle Beach lists support for Windows 10 and 11, Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Android devices, compatible smart TVs and streaming platforms, with XInput and Microsoft Game Input Protocol support for PC games.

The 1,000Hz catch: headset audio changes the Rematch
The Rematch reaches an advertised 1,000Hz in wired and 2.4GHz modes when controller headset audio is off. Enable headset audio and the specified rate falls to 500Hz. Turtle Beach also quotes up to 20 hours of battery life without audio but up to 10 hours with it enabled. These are useful details for players who plug a wired headset into the controller instead of using a separate PC audio interface.
For context, a 1,000Hz polling interval is one millisecond and a 500Hz interval is two milliseconds. That is only the interval at which inputs can be reported, not a full end-to-end input-lag measurement. Game engine timing, display latency, wireless conditions and firmware also matter. We haven’t independently measured either controller.

Are these Xbox controllers?
Despite their familiar layout, these are announced and marketed as PC-focused controllers. Turtle Beach lists PC, compatible mobile and smart-TV environments; its release does not establish native Xbox-console compatibility for either model. Anyone shopping specifically for an Xbox Series console should verify that support before purchasing rather than assuming it from the button layout.
UK price, availability and the Coloured Static Press view
Turtle Beach announced both products as available through participating global retailers on 27 October. The UK recommended prices are £89.99 for Stealth Flip and £49.99 for Rematch Wireless RGB; retailer stock and promotions may vary. Official product details are available for the Stealth Flip and Rematch Wireless RGB for PC. Those links may display regional pricing.
Our early interest is split. The Stealth Flip is the more imaginative accessory because its touchpad system could meaningfully change how people use a controller at a desk or on the sofa. The Rematch appears the stronger value proposition on announced specifications, particularly for PC players who want contactless sticks and adjustable triggers without spending £90.
The unanswered questions concern ergonomics, analogue feel, wireless stability, actual input performance and whether either model’s long-term durability lives up to the specifications. Those are matters for a proper hands-on review, not assumptions to make from a press release.
