ANOMALITH Launches on Switch 2 in the UK: FURYU’s Surreal Horror Shooter Explained

FURYU has released ANOMALITH, a third-person survival-action game built around hostile environments that refuse to obey the usual rules. The official UK Nintendo listing dates its Nintendo Switch 2 edition to 28 October 2026, while FURYU’s Japanese product site gives 29 October in Japan Standard Time. The publisher’s launch announcement also names PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, although local availability and pricing can differ by storefront.

Rather than relying solely on jump scares, ANOMALITH puts players in the boots of Reona Minazuki, a young investigator searching for a missing friend inside so-called Anomaly Zones. These locations include an apartment complex where gravity behaves strangely, endlessly repeating shopping streets and corridors that seem alive. The challenge is to enter, survive, gather useful material and make it back out.

Survival horror with a tactical escape route

Reona can customise firearms, manage ammunition and equipment, and develop 12 anomalous powers that alter her options in combat. Materials brought home from expeditions feed into upgrades at base. According to FURYU, equipment also changes character statistics, with appearance customisation handled separately. It is an intriguing combination of extraction-style preparation, resource pressure and surreal exploration, although we have not tested the finished game.

Who is making ANOMALITH?

FURYU credits Romeo Tanaka for the scenario, MON for character design and Yuka Kitamura for the soundtrack. Its UK Nintendo product page lists English and Japanese language support and a PEGI 16 age rating. The game is single-player.

FURYU’s press announcement lists US prices of $49.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the digital deluxe edition; those figures should not be treated as confirmed UK prices. The deluxe bundle includes a digital art book, selected soundtrack and downloadable extras. Physical release dates also differ from the digital launch.

Where to check availability

The official UK Nintendo listing confirms the Switch 2 date and specifications. FURYU’s official ANOMALITH site links to the other platform stores and explains the Japanese launch timetable. Check the relevant UK store before purchasing.

This is a news report based on FURYU’s 28 October announcement and official product listings, not a hands-on review. We have not assessed performance or gameplay quality.
