The Transference Launches Today: A Locked-House Mystery from Kuraishisama

Official Steam store promotional artwork for The Transference

The Transference, a first-person escape-room mystery developed by Spanish solo creator Kuraishisama and published by JanduSoft, is scheduled to launch today, 29 October 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

Its premise turns an ordinary home into a trap. Doors and windows have been boarded shut, unfamiliar clues are scattered throughout the rooms, and the player must work out both how to escape and who is responsible. JanduSoft says the story centres on family secrets and betrayal, with exploration, environmental puzzles and moments when hiding is safer than confronting whatever else is inside.

A mystery with a Spanish identity

The developer draws on Andalusian settings and Spanish literary and cultural references for its puzzles. English and Spanish voice acting is included, with the mystery presented through first-person exploration rather than a traditional combat-led horror structure.

The publisher lists Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch among the launch platforms. The Steam store has a scheduled unlock later today, so availability may vary by platform and time zone.

This is a release-news report based on publisher information, not a hands-on review. For official details and platform links, see JanduSoft’s game page and the official press kit.
