Halloween without the horror marathon. Memory • Halloween is a free picture-pair matching game for iPhone and iPad from independent developer Clément Marty. Its seasonal cards and family-friendly formats make it an alternative to the traditional seasonal scare.

Switchboard discovery feature, based on the official App Store and developer-provided details, not a hands-on review. Original 4.2.4 gameplay screenshots are reproduced with the developer’s written permission.

Classic matching, a ticking clock and two-player options

Turn over cards, remember their pictures and uncover pairs. The developer confirms 25 difficulty levels, Time Attack and an option for two people to take turns on the same device. The current App Store listing also describes optional Game Center multiplayer and several Halloween presentation themes.

An established app, updated for Halloween

Memory • Halloween is not a brand-new October launch. Version 4.2.4 was released on 13 October 2026, and the game requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. The developer confirms that the current release is free to download, has no in-app purchases and currently has advertising disabled. Apple’s App Store privacy disclosure should still be consulted for its data-handling details.
