Funcom has confirmed two very different survival games for PlayStation 5 in early 2027. Conan Exiles Enhanced is also heading to Xbox Series X|S, while Aloft will make its console debut on PS5 as the PC game reaches version 1.0.
The announcements arrived today, 27 October, through Renaissance PR and Funcom’s official channels. Exact launch dates have not yet been announced, so early 2027 remains the current release window rather than a fixed date.
Conan Exiles Enhanced: a free upgrade for existing console owners
Conan Exiles Enhanced arrived on Steam in May 2026, upgrading the open-world survival game to Unreal Engine 5 with improved environments, lighting, characters and effects. Console players are now set to receive the same substantial technical overhaul.
Funcom says existing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will receive Enhanced at no additional charge on the corresponding newer consoles. Purchased content, including DLC and Bazaar items, is planned to carry over. The Enhanced version also introduces a redesigned interface, quality-of-life changes and a more seamless connection between the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah, which remains paid DLC.

Full cross-play is planned soon after launch, although Funcom has not committed to an exact date. The upcoming console versions will also include Legacy of the Giant-Kings content.
There is an important save-data wrinkle for long-time players: Funcom’s official Enhanced FAQ explains that certain Isle of Siptah bases cannot be preserved during the merge and that Enhanced single-player saves cannot be reopened in the older Legacy version. Returning players should read the migration guidance before switching.
Aloft brings floating-island survival to PlayStation 5
At the opposite end of the survival spectrum, Astrolabe Interactive’s Aloft swaps brutal combat and fortresses for floating islands, airborne exploration and creative co-operative play. Players can turn islands into skyships, build homes above the clouds, explore with friends and help restore an ecosystem threatened by fungal corruption.

The PlayStation 5 edition is being prepared alongside the game’s 1.0 PC release. Funcom says it will incorporate the updates delivered across the game’s Early Access development, including expanded exploration, wildlife, gliders, puzzles and combat improvements.
What happens next?
The confirmed platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for Conan Exiles Enhanced, and PS5 for Aloft. No release day has been fixed for either title. Readers can find the original announcement on the PlayStation Blog or follow Funcom’s press centre for further details.
