Halloween has come early for co-op horror fans. Sker Ritual, the round-based survival shooter from Welsh developer Wales Interactive, is free to claim on the Epic Games Store until Thursday 29 October 2026 at 15:00 GMT (UK time). Add it to your library before the deadline and it’s yours to keep.
Set on the haunted Sker Island, this Maid of Sker spin-off throws you and up to three friends against wave after wave of the Quiet Ones. Expect steampunk weapons, increasingly dangerous enemies, unlockable powers known as Miracles and the familiar pressure of trying to survive just one more round.
How to claim Sker Ritual for free
Head to the official Sker Ritual page on the Epic Games Store, sign in to your Epic account and claim the PC game while the promotion is live. There is no purchase required for the base-game giveaway, and you do not need to install it immediately.
Offer ends: 29 October 2026, 15:00 GMT. The giveaway is run by Epic Games, not Coloured Static Press, and storefront availability may vary by region.
It’s a particularly good fit for a Halloween gaming night with friends. If you’ve been meaning to try a classic-style co-op horde shooter, now’s your chance to grab one without spending a penny.
