Discounty: The Supermarket Sim Where Every Sale Has Consequences

Official Discounty supermarket management game promotional artwork

Running a discount supermarket sounds straightforward. In Discounty, the difficult part might be living with what your success does to the town around you. Crinkle Cut Games’ narrative-driven management game puts players behind the counter in Blomkest, balancing shelf layouts, stock deliveries, supplier deals and community relationships.

More than a supermarket simulator

Published by PQube, Discounty launched on 21 August 2025. You take over your aunt’s shop, organise products, serve customers and negotiate deals as the business expands. But Blomkest has its own problems, and your commercial decisions can affect its residents.

People or Profit?

In June 2026, the developers released a free expansion adding a fourth story chapter, three new endings and further options for shaping the future of Blomkest. The studio’s official Steam updates detail the additions.

Why it deserves attention

The combination of welcoming pixel art, practical shopkeeping and difficult choices gives Discounty an identity beyond a conventional management simulator. We would like to explore how those decisions play out in a longer hands-on session.

Where to play

Discounty is available on Steam and on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Check individual storefronts for availability and pricing.
