Indie Spotlight | Steam Next Fest 2026

Some multiplayer games give you time to settle in. No Brakes Club would rather throw everyone into the action immediately. Coffee Beans Dev’s retro-styled multiplayer platformer is built around quickfire minigames, where the rules are easy to grasp and one mistake can end your round.

Ten players, very little breathing room

According to the official Steam description, up to ten players can compete in a round. The emphasis is on sprinting, disrupting rivals and surviving rapid challenges rather than committing to a lengthy match. That structure makes it an interesting prospect for friends looking for short, unpredictable bursts of competition.

The developer openly embraces sabotage and opportunism as part of the experience. Success appears to demand quick reactions and a willingness to adapt as the next minigame arrives.

A party game built for repeat attempts

Fast rounds are only half the formula in a multiplayer party game. The other half is whether a loss makes you want to try again. No Brakes Club is pitching precisely that loop, with simple-to-learn challenges and plenty of opportunities for last-second reversals.

We haven’t tested its networking, controls or minigame variety, so these remain the developer’s intended strengths rather than our verdict.

Release and playtest

Steam identifies Coffee Beans Dev as both developer and publisher and currently lists the release as Coming soon. A free demo is available on its Steam page, alongside an option to request access to a separate playtest. Find No Brakes Club on Steam.
