Indie Spotlight | Steam Next Fest 2026

In Second Stone, exploration has a second side. Skyward Entertainment’s colourful action RPG follows Shiren, a young treasure hunter who can cross between a vibrant Light World and its ominous counterpart, the Shrouded World.

Two versions of the same adventure

The parallel-world concept is central to the game’s design. A blocked path in one reality may be accessible in the other, inviting players to think about the environment as two connected spaces rather than a single route through a level.

Movement and customisation

Combat is built around mobility, platforming and magic. Elemental Manastones can be combined and fitted to equipment, allowing players to shape different fighting styles. Beyond the action, the developers describe a village hub for upgrades and quests, a dice-battler minigame and changing labyrinth dungeons.

A new chance to try it

Publisher Headup and developer Skyward Entertainment announced a PC demo for 19 October 2026, coinciding with Steam Next Fest. The earlier closed playtest is separate from this public demo announcement. The full game’s release date remains unannounced.
