Indie Spotlight | Steam Next Fest 2026
A gathering shadow has swallowed the lands of Netherwyn, and Pyro Games wants players to venture straight into it. This action roguelite RPG mixes the immediate pressure of hack-and-slash combat with a party-based structure designed for both lone adventurers and groups of friends.

From the inn to the unknown
Between expeditions, players return to an inn to upgrade heroes, trade equipment and prepare for the next descent. Runs feature procedurally generated levels and changing loot, so a successful approach in one attempt may need rethinking in the next. The developer promises a variety of foes, from swarming zombies and goblins to tougher elite enemies and multi-phase bosses.
Fight alone or coordinate a party
Cooperative combat is an important part of the pitch. Combining hero abilities and coordinating against bosses should offer a different rhythm to simply clearing rooms alone. Yet the game is also designed for solo play, an encouraging choice for players who cannot always assemble a party.
The Necromancer returns
The first release focuses on a campaign titled Return of the Necromancer. Its enemies grow stronger and the challenges lengthen as players progress, with repeated attempts feeding a cycle of learning and improvement.
