Indie Spotlight | Steam Next Fest 2026

Farming games usually begin with a watering can and a very long to-do list. RoboFarm has a different idea: recruit robots to do the hard work, then turn your attention to building a more efficient, more elaborate agricultural operation.

From a handful of crops to a production system

InfiniStrategy’s semi-idle farming simulation combines incremental progression with automation. Players begin with modest fields, grow new crops and expand their layouts as the money comes in. Robot workers harvest and maintain the operation, while manual harvesting remains useful for speeding up progression.

Build for synergy

The strategy comes from choosing upgrades and decorations that interact with the farm’s systems. Weather events can help or hinder production, and temporary power-ups add another layer of planning. The developer also highlights offline earnings, allowing the farm to keep progressing between sessions.

Make the farm your own

Players can customise the environment with lighting and time-of-day controls, create multiple farms and share their designs. It’s an appealing combination for those who enjoy both efficient systems and the satisfaction of making a place look good.

A demo already in development

The official Steam page offers a demo, with an update published on 2 October 2026 reporting scenery improvements, better controls and a claimed 25% performance increase. The full release remains listed as Coming soon.

Editor’s note: This feature is based on official descriptions and announcements, not first-hand gameplay.
