Matching fruit is a familiar puzzle-game pastime. Watermellionaire gives it a corporate nightmare twist: miss your quota and you lose your job, while your fellow employees are trying to beat you to the top.

Welcome to the packing facility

Players combine matching fruit to earn points and meet a daily quota under the watchful eye of a guard. Alcedonia describes the game as a darkly comic, competitive spin on the fruit-merging formula.

Sabotage is on the menu

This is not simply a race against a high score. Competing employees can interfere with each other, making the challenge as much about surviving rivals as placing fruit efficiently. In its direct reply to Coloured Static Press, Alcedonia says the demo offers single-player and two-person multiplayer, with up to eight players planned for the full game.

Try the demo

Steam lists a free demo and a planned release of 16 November 2026. The contrast between an ordinary matching puzzle and an intimidating workplace setting gives this one a distinct personality.

Developer: Alcedonia. Official Steam page | Free demo.
