Indie Spotlight | Coloured Static Press

In Deathfall, light is both a lifeline and a weapon. The action roguelike drops players into near-total darkness and asks them to survive escalating waves of enemies as their protective aura expands.
Light up the battlefield
Your character’s aura automatically damages enemies within its range. Level up and that circle of light grows, revealing more of the surroundings and reaching threats that previously lurked beyond it. Movement and positioning therefore matter even when damage happens automatically.
Build for the next wave
Players collect abilities, upgrades and rewards throughout each run, with chests and shops offering new ways to shape their build. A Rebirth system provides longer-term progression, increasing power as players attempt to survive further into the darkness.
Steam Next Fest plans
A developer posting as OmerDeveloper shared Deathfall’s Steam Next Fest plans on X. The official Steam page identifies Iron Forge Games as both developer and publisher and currently lists the full release as Coming soon. A public demo is not clearly listed on the store page we checked, so readers should confirm availability there rather than assume it is live.
Developer: Iron Forge Games. Official Steam page.
Editor’s note: This is a researched discovery feature based on official information and developer submissions, not a hands-on review.
