Winning the lottery is usually about luck. ZodiacLottery, from indie developer NextBuff, makes manipulating that luck the entire game.

Move the animals, make the jackpot

The puzzle centres on lottery tickets filled with colourful animal symbols. Players can spin and reposition animals to form winning combinations, then use rewards to develop increasingly powerful strategies.

Roguelike combinations

Relics and synergies can change the value of a ticket, encouraging experimentation with different approaches to a run. The presentation mixes a retro computer interface with bright pixel-art animal icons and satisfying numerical escalation.

A demo before release

NextBuff shared ZodiacLottery in response to Coloured Static Press’s indie call-out. Steam lists a free demo and a planned 10 November 2026 release. This is an editorial introduction based on official information, not a hands-on review.
