A fantasy RPG that parents and children can explore together is the idea behind Haven, an ambitious cooperative adventure from Unleashed Games.

A world that demands teamwork

Haven’s official description emphasises group combat rather than lone heroes. Players are encouraged to learn enemy behaviour, combine abilities and prepare together before tackling difficult encounters. Its world promises wild areas, dungeons and changing discoveries.

Build somewhere worth returning to

Beyond combat, players can gather resources and raise a village from the ground up. Construction, crafting and the development of a shared home are positioned as central parts of the adventure, offering a gentler counterweight to the danger beyond the settlement.

A family-first pitch

In a reply to Coloured Static Press, a member of the team described Haven as a co-op RPG they wanted to be able to play with their children. Steam lists online co-op, crafting, base building and a planned Early Access launch, but does not currently confirm a public demo. We would welcome a longer conversation with the team about making an RPG that works across generations.
